C.I.Y. is a ministry for the national worker.  In the early 90's my heart was impressed to look to the Harvest and see the value of the national minister.  Prayer has led us to begin this ministry dedicated to equipping nationals with resources to reach the harvest, and to make our churches in the "West" aware of what is happening on the mission field through the work of our foreign brothers. 

As a Pastor and Evangelist for the last 19 years I was amazed at denominational financial requirements set for our western missionaries.  Today I don't know one Missionary family who can be approved for less than $5,000 to $8,000 per month support, or even much more. In contrast the average national worker can live on $200 to $300 monthly, and many times for less. 

We are personally familiar with our pastors/evangelists that we support with CIY funds. For example, one of our CIY Evangelists has pioneered 285 churches on a budget that has peeked at $20,000 U.S. dollars per year.  Having personally visited this ministry I can testify to the stability of this ministry and what a joy to see dedicated leaders pastoring these solid indigenous churches.
